Affinity: Chaos-Chapter 1791 To Salvage Or Offend?
1791 To Salvage Or Offend?
Lord Harry was taken aback by Grey's sudden outburst, but when he thought about the multiple times he had referred to Grey as Boy or Little Friend over the past few minutes, an embarrassed smile appeared on his face, but he quickly tossed it to the side as he looked at Grey. "What force are you from?" He asked. He heard Grey's answer when Sir Xavier asked him if he wasn't from the Raging Flames Territory. If Grey's not from here, then he must be a genius from one of the overlords in the other Territories. In fact, he even had a place he vaguely believed Grey was from after seeing him use such weird methods. "You wouldn't know even if I told you." It's not that Grey was looking down on them, but in truth, these people didn't know about the Dawson Family, nor the Pyrmond Faction. Therefore, telling them is of no use. For the first time since appearing, a potent killing intent emanated from Lord Harry's body as he looked at Grey. Grey telling him that he wouldn't know the Faction even if he told him was the height of disrespect. Lord Harry's aura spread out as he spoke to Grey with a cold voice, "It seems like you think this is your Territory? This is the Raging Flames Faction Territory, Raging Flames City. I'd like to see how you can leave this place without any help from your Faction or Family's experts."
Lord Harry motioned for the two Protectors, as well as Sir Xavier to block Grey's escape path. He knew Grey was powerful since he could deal with Sir Xavier's attack easily, but that was when dealing with the likes of Sir Xavier. Lord Harry could achieve the same feat as Grey, so he wasn't scared of facing him. Grey didn't show any panicked expression. He only scoffed at the sight of these people surrounding him, "Senior, I think you're deviating from the correct…"

Before he finished his statement, a bright light shot at him, His figure flickered, and for some reason, there was a change to it. It was almost instantaneous, but before anyone could notice the difference, it was covered by the light, an explosion ringing out in the Hall right after the light made contact with the figure. Bang! The figure didn't even get a chance to scream. Everyone knew that the figure died on impact. When the light died down, only ashes were left. Realizing this, Sir Xavier and the Blue Protector looked at Lord Harry in fright, they knew that even they couldn't survive this attack. The attack might look casual, but it isn't. It's a full powered attack of a Sixth stage Sovereign. Lord Harry didn't wear a victorious look on his face. 'He couldn't have died just like that, right?' From what he knew about those experts, they'll not allow their young talents like Grey to head out without sufficient protection. Grey himself spoke about a mysterious rare treasure given to him by his Teacher. If he had something that could make small things vanish, there's a good chance that he definitely had defensive artifacts on him. "That boy died?" The Blue Protector asked. "Of course! With Vice City Lord personally taking action, do you think that stupid brat will survive it?" Sir Xavier asked. His thought process wasn't wrong. Grey might be strong, but he didn't believe that he was stronger than Lord Harry. "That stupid brat normally stood no chance." A third voice joined in on the conversation. Sir Xavier found the voice strange, turning his head to the position the Black Protector is supposed to be standing, he saw a figure he thought had been wiped out from the surface of the world. Seeing Grey standing there, he looked around the Hall in search of the fifth person that should be in the room. His eyes trailed to the ashes on the ground and recalled that of the five people previously in the Hall, one of them had been reduced to ash. What he couldn't understand was how the person turned out to be the Black Protector when Grey was the one who standing there at the time of the attack. Lord Harry also had his eyes on Grey, even though he suspected that he didn't hit Grey, he also didn't expect the outcome. 'How is this possible?!' Lord Harry was on the verge of freaking out. He couldn't believe what he was seeing. His heart started to pound as only one thought came to his mind; he's stronger than me. His previous attack was only to test Grey's depth. The attack might be powerful, but it isn't something that a Fourth stage Sovereign wouldn't survive. He saw how Grey dealt with Sir Xavier and thought he would only be a Fourth or Fifth stage Sovereign. Adding Grey's mysterious background to it, he wasn't confident that he could kill Grey. Nevertheless, he thought he could keep Grey here. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case too. If his attack could not even touch Grey's clothes, how could he keep him? Lord Harry's heart sank as these thoughts flashed through his head. He looked towards a particular direction with a serious face. Looking in this direction, he suddenly recalled Grey staring in this direction. At the time, he thought that maybe something on the wall caught Grey's attention, but now, he knew that Grey indeed sensed the City Lord. His eyes darted around as potential ways to settle the matter with Grey ran through his head. When he took a deep look at Grey's eyes, it dawned on him that irrespective of whatever explanation he tried to offer, he might not be able to salvage the case. He was stuck between deciding to go all out to salvage the situation, or create an enemy they might not be able to afford to offend. 'He's not from that little Family, there's still hope!' Lord Harry was aware of Grey saying he wasn't from the Family that he was trying to protect. Here's the chap guys! Thanks for reading and have a great weekend ahead!
