Adventurer's Guild Café: I Was Wrongfully Exiled by the Saint, So I Will Enjoy My Second Life with My Fluffy Friends-Chapter 2V .1 .2 - Brushing
Several days had passed since Kiril had departed. I was worried about him, but since there wasn’t really anything I could do, I just lived my life as usual. I had the morning off today, so I was brushing the fluffy ones.
“Lulu, does it feel good?”
“Kyu~!”
“Hehe, I see.”
When I ran the brush through her pink fluffy fur, Lulu narrowed her eyes and let out a high-pitched chirp. As I brushed while stroking the fluffy fur, the Pipi came over too, rubbing against me asking to be brushed as well.
“Just a moment, okay?”
After saying that to the Mokomotts, I asked Lulu which ribbon she’d like today. She pointed to the red one, so I tied the red ribbon around her neck. Seemingly very satisfied, Lulu finally got off my thigh.
“Okay, who wants to go next?”
“Peep!”

“Pigyu!”
“Mupi!”
The three of them jumped at me at once, making me squirm and giggle from the ticklishness on the bed.
“Alright, alright—then today we’ll start with Lili!”
“Peep.”
I scooped up Lili, who was always at her own pace, and began brushing her fluffy fur with a small comb.
Her yellow fluffy fur looked like a baby chick. Lili closed her round black eyes and looked very content. As I combed through her thick fur, something glittered faintly between the strands.
“......?”
What in the world is this?
When I squinted and looked more closely, it seemed that part of Lili’s fur was softly glowing.
“Wow! What is this?”
“Pi?”
Upon closer inspection, it wasn’t just one part—there were faint glimmers shining here and there.
“Why is it glowing?”
Even when I asked, Lili only tilted her head. While that was happening, Pipi and Lala flew over to me. As if to say “Look!” they turned their backs or flapped their wings.
“Oh! You’re all glowing!”
Why didn’t I notice before?
Looking closely, the Mokomotts were sparkling here and there.
“Could it be... they’re really going to evolve?”
Lulu sniffed the Mokomotts curiously.
While glowing in their own ways, the Mokomotts each demanded brushing.
“Ah, hey... that tickles!”
With all four of them, including Lulu, attacking me, I ended up writhing around on the bed.
