Su raised his left arm to block.

With a tremendous sound, Su Yu collided with the One-eyed Corpse King.

In terms of brute strength, Su Yu couldn’t compete and was sent flying backwards.

There was a bang, Su Yu hastily extended his left arm to grip a large tree, thus managing to halt his rapid flight.

However, he looked at his left arm with some dissatisfaction.

Normally, upgrading his “Rending Claw” to “Tearing Storm” should have made it stronger.

At his “Second-Level” stage, using the “Rending Claw” at full force was able to damage the One-eyed Corpse King’s Iron Chain defense.

After upgrading to a Third-Level warrior, his speed had greatly improved, making it much easier to dodge the Corpse King’s attacks.

“Roar—” Su Yu evaded the attack, the One-eyed Corpse King roared to the sky, pulled its hands together, now covered in iron chains, transforming into a massive Iron Chain Hammer, crashing down menacingly.

Su Yu looked up at the Iron Chain Hammer falling from the sky, murmuring to himself.

Suddenly, as if he’d figured something out, he shouted: “Impossible — Rend —” He raised his left arm to block the Iron Chain Hammer.

This time, the black scales on his left arm lifted up, but no white steam spurted out, looking rather like the early stages of “Rending Claw”, making for an odd sight.

With a loud ‘clank’, the Iron Chain Hammer fell from the sky, smacking into Su Yu’s left arm.

His legs gave out, and he dropped to one knee.

At the same moment, under the force’s tremendous pressure, his body hit a breaking point, the energy erupted explosively.

The destructive force that radiated cracked it wide open, resulting in the One-eyed Corpse King’s chest fragmenting into a substantial number of shards and broken chains.

The One-eyed Corpse King let out its final howl and roar, its head shot out, far, far away.

When the whirlpool of blood and flesh dissipated, only the Corpse King’s two massive legs and a pair of severed arms remained, with the head that was shot far away, its upper body was completely gone.

This was the real “Tearing Storm”, a terrifying, tornadic force capable of reducing anything, including steel, to shreds.

“Who would’ve thought, the ‘Tearing Storm’ skill can be utilised in so many different ways.” Su Yu stood, hugging his left arm, shock painted on his face.

He stared at the remains of the One-eyed Corpse King, and at a shining black crystal floating towards him, being absorbed into his left arm.

At the same moment, a new wave of power surged within his body.

The One-eyed Corpse King was a Third-Level beast warrior, the energy inside its crystal was immense, considerably more than four or five Iron Chain Zombies.

Su Yu felt his body’s special power surge, instantly flowing towards his chest.
